A Military Unit recognised by the Imperial Army.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
A unit sized between a Corps and an Army Group.
An Army is typically commanded by a General.
Armies are occasionally deployed by the Imperial Army for the most major planetary actions. The Imperial Marines never field Army sized units.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
As the unit size one larger than a Corps, this is a long-standing standard definition that has been around since pre-space days.
Armies typically field a number of Battalions to be about 500 times as combat effective as a Battalion alone.[1]
