History & Background (Dossier)

Tukera Lines operates offices and maintenance facilities on Ansirk.

At TL–15, it is one of the most technologically advanced worlds in the subsector. While the largely automated Class-A Starport is capable of building starships it focuses instead on fighter craft design and pilot training. Primarily a military station catering to pilots, Ansirk is operated under a civilian license to train non-military personnel in small craft operations. As such, Ansirk has a transient population with no government structure.

Some 20 Naval personnel on Ansirk undertake small starship design and construction; several are test pilots. Another 20 to 30 provide basic facilities for the inhabitants and for civilian travelers. The economy is supported by a vast store of refined fuel, scooped and refined from the gas giant which Ansirk orbits. The Navy uses the system for test maneuvers - their presence discourages pirates. Security robots are commonly armed with FGMP-15s and other efficient weapons.
