Anglish

The single most widely spoken language within the Distant Fringe. Most non-Anglish speakers know at least a few words and phrases of the language.

Description / Specifications

Anglish is the main spoken language of both the Firstworlds in Far Home Sector and the Bright Conclave in Halcyon Sector. It is considered to be the language of education, science and learning: both the University of Selasia and the University of Tal Varisa, the premier centers of learning within the Distant Fringe, are located in Anglish-speaking areas.

History & Background / Dossier

Anglish is a direct descendant of the Fleet Anglic spoken by the First Confederation, the Last Armada, and the Second Confederation.
