Mainworld Topography and Geography

Alzenei has two continents and very few island chains. The capital is located on the western continent, at a subtropical latitude.

History & Background (Dossier)

The Alzenei system is the hub and capital of the League of Suns, an Imperial-allied state embracing some ten worlds in a loose coalition.

• An Imperial mission is maintained on the world, and the government, by treaty, services Imperial scout and naval units operating in this region of space.
• The Imperial presence has helped limit encroachment by neighboring Zhodani clients.

World Starport (St)

Alzenei has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

The port is named Alz Atse Starport.

Urbanization

The capital is Alzenei City. Although traces of the original city remain, particularly along the north bank of the Hazer River and in the Alztop district, most of the city has been thoroughly redeveloped with modern TL-12 architectural styles.

World Timeline

• Circa -4,000: The first outpost on this world, established by the Vlazhdumecta, fails.
• Circa 300: Alzenei is settled by immigrants from the Spinward Marches Sector.
• 988: Formation of the League of Suns.
