Akhtyoyaoi is actually a double world, orbiting its primary in tandem with another planet of size 2. Geological studies indicate that both worlds are not native to the solar system, possibly the moons of an extrasolar gas giant that were stripped off by the stars' gravitational pull. All of the system's worlds exhibit previous vagabondage, which is not suprising given the primary's 11 billion year old age and proximity to the gravitational pressure waves that demarcate the Rift. Many astronomers and geologists visit the system for its "living fossils" to gain insight into various ancient stellar processes. The system isn't for the meek, however. Most of the local Aslan clans are just a step up from being privateers or bandits, and they blow off tensions in impromptu gladiatorial games or brawls that can easily include innocent bystanders.
