Meta-History & Background

A sector that is located almost entirely within the Great Void, located to spinward-rimward of Halcyon sector. It contains 9 systems – no system within its borders is known to be populated. No part of Abyss sector can be reached by conventional jump-2 vessels travelling from the Distant Fringe.

  • Demon's Eye (1621 Far Home). The intensely luminous blue supergiant star, lying around 50 parsecs to coreward-trailing, can be clearly seen from all of the worlds lying within Abyss Sector.
