1675th Imperial Marine Regiment

The 1675th Imperial Marine Regiment was a Regiment sized unit of the Third Imperium and was part of the Imperial Marines.

Description (Specifications)

The Regiment was, until 1118, a back-world posting utilising older Imperial Marines equipment in the Atsah Subsector with the 88th Fleet. Two battalions (2nd and 3rd) of the regiment were of Vargr recruited with the Atsah Subsector.

History & Background (Dossier)

With the withdrawal of the Corridor Fleet from the neighbouring sector in 1118, the regiment found itself in the front line against the Dzarrgh Federate. By 1132 the regiment was scattered across multiple worlds and ships rather than operating as a whole. The decision to Abandon the subsector meant that a new 8th Regency Marine Line Regiment replaced it as the 88th Fleet's asset, and the remains of the regiment were evacuated to reinforce other, understrength, Regency Marines units. The unit was officially disbanded in 1137.
