The subsector borders both Solomani Rim and Neworld sectors. Ziusudra lies entirely within the Solomani Confederation borders, though both the systems of Scathe and Rosaro are located adjacent to the border of the Imperium.

Ziusudra, subsector M of Alpha Crucis has 30 worlds, of which 25 have native gas giants. The estimated population for the subsector is 55 billion sophonts (not necessarily humans). There are two High population (Hi) worlds, one Moderate population (Ph) world, 15 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, seven Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. There are five Agricultural (Ag) worlds versus one Pre-Agricultural (Pa) world, and five Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds. There are three Rich (Ri) worlds versus two Industrial (In) worlds. There are two Asteroid (As) belts, no Desert (De) worlds, three Garden (Ga) worlds, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, two Poor (Po) worlds, five Vacuum (Va) worlds, and four Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds. There are six Naval bases in the subsector, no Scout bases, and no Way stations. In Ziusudra there is one race homeworld. The highest population world is Scathe (Alpha Crucis 0231).
