Zhiaqrqiats Sector, also known as Thaku Fung Sector and formerly known as Sigma Zephyrus Sector, is coreward of the spinward end of the Vargr Extents.

Meta-History & Background[edit]

Zhiaqrqiats Sector is an underdeveloped sector.

  1. In 1985, Zhodani (Alien Module) was published.
  2. In 1990, Alien - Vilani & Vargr was published.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

Although the Zhodani Consulate has no presence in this sector, many sophonts in Charted Space use the Consulate's name for this sector, Zhiaqrqiats. The locals - both the Vargr Extents who were the first to reach this sector, and the later Solomani Preserve - call it Thaku Fung, though they care more about the subsector and system names. This sector was largely uninhabited until -1685 when the Solomani Preserve colony ships arrived, but most of Charted Space still thought this sector was mostly barren until 1103, when an IISS scout reached Havensmith and got away with sector maps.
