Nearly the entire subsector lies within the borders of the Solomani Confederation except six non-aligned worlds.

Vald, subsector K of Alpha Crucis has 24 worlds, of which 20 have native gas giants. The estimated population for the subsector is 435 million sophonts (not necessarily humans). There are no High population (Hi) worlds, two Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 17 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, three Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. There are four Agricultural (Ag) worlds versus four Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, and no Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds. There are no Rich (Ri) worlds versus no Industrial (In) worlds. There is one Asteroid (As) belt, no Desert (De) worlds, no Garden (Ga) worlds, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, three Poor (Po) worlds, four Vacuum (Va) worlds, and one Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) world. There are five Naval bases in the subsector, no Scout bases, and no Way stations. The highest population world is Teta Lise (Alpha Crucis 2127). The highest tech level is E at Zilon (Alpha Crucis 1924), Flora (Alpha Crucis 2122), and Haven (Alpha Crucis 2324). The average technology level is 10 (with most between 7 and 12).
