Tetsoung has a tainted, unbreatheable atmosphere and little available surface water. The system has a population between 10,000 and 10 million, lacking the industrial base to be completely self-supporting. It is a Vargr dominated Non-Aligned world in the Engakhs Subsector of Knoellighz Sector.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

Tetsoung (Knoellighz 1213) E5A0630-2 De Lt Ni is the unfortunate mistake of ill-planned colonization rush. Doomed with a Tech Level deficiency of -6, the seven million Vargr colonists at 1105 have repeatedly pleaded to Khezoeridosai (Knoellighz 1212) for relief, or better yet evacuation. Lower surface gravity (0.36) has made colonists weak in their muscles and atrophied bone and joint structures. With less than 5% hydrosphere found mainly in drilled wells, water is dangerously scarce on this Desert world. The Exotic atmosphere has required deep cavern realms that are capable of trapping what little oxygen is found on Tetsoung, making it the most valuable resource in need of resupply from Khezoeridosai. Even as colonists shell out money for exodus migrations to other worlds of the Engakhs Independent Cluster, some resource mining is minimally exported to build such funds to escape Tetsoung.

Currently only a Corsair Base housing Hunters’ Bawn Privateers desperate for work ‘protects’ the Jump 1 route to and from Khezoeridosai and Aenguezae (Knoellighz 1114). Without Gas Giants or Planetoid Belts, Tetsoung is a poor stopover except for Doom Trade transport to other worlds of the Cluster. The lawless, desert society fights daily for control of the underground, cavern realm landing field.
