- EXTERNAL LINK: Okay, first off, thank you for all of the responses and input on what is not the first, nor the last, discussion of IP law as it relates to the use of images on the Internet in general. I also appreciate the positive feedback on my posts in general, it's encouraging and I've enjoyed doing them.
I would recommend that the page be locked for editing only by administrators.
Non-Canon Author Copyrights (2006)
We need to mark the articles which are not part of canon (or official published books). And we need to make sure that the authors approvals are recorded. I recommend that they are posted here.
I brought this from the Talk:Aakho page.

The (suggested) official policy for non-canon author material (i.e. fan created material: You should create a page for the author using their name (e.g Thomas Jones-Low). If the are registered users, they may use their wiki user page. Add a [ [ Category:Authors ] ] tag to this page.
We should add a Permission Given template which states (in part): This author has given permission to post their material to this wiki
Finally, for each entry which the author has copyright, add a source link back to their user page.
How is that?
