History & Background[edit]

Major Historical Events Timeline[edit]
The Duchy of Zeng plays only a minor role in sector politics. The Duchy has a respectable economy but its strength is concentrated away from its competitors, with its most powerful worlds, Lilad, Agdarmi (Deneb 1340), and Pikha (Deneb 1633) all on the Rimward border. The Duchy’s distance from strong competing worlds gives it a buffer zone and allows it to project power into the rimward edge of Gulf and completely dominate the affairs of the tiny slice of worlds that is Macon Subsector in Reft.
The Duke is mainly concerned with harassing the Duchy of Vincennes, a powerful neighbor whose vassal world Dekha (Deneb 1128) projects power into Zeng subsector. The Duke of Zeng belongs to the Garhik family.
Zeng is defended by the 260th Fleet, headquartered at Dawn (Deneb 1336). The portion of the Regency Frontier is part of the Regency Quarantine District 5, although most of this section of the frontier falls in the Kamlar Subsector. [1]
