The Xienner of Raezarourkollarrakhs (Gvurrdon 1126) are a technologically competent Minor Non-Human Race with a Non-humanoid appearance.

Physiology & Environment (Ecology)[edit]

This race comes from a world which is fairly warm, and quite high in humidity. Much of the planet is covered by large forests and jungles.

The Xienner descend from a stock of omnivorous primates, just like Humans. Despite this similarity, there is no way there can be confusion between Humans and Xienners. Xienners have slim graceful bodies. Their average height is about 180cm, with a 150cm tail. They are bipedal with digitigrade legs. Their forelimbs are long and slender, with 5 fingered hands. Their body is covered with fur which is typically white or golden. Their face looks somewhat like that of a baboon, but covered with short and stiff hairs. The nose has long whiskers. The tail is semi-prehensile, enough to pick up items like bags and key rings; however it isn't able to carry much weight.

One thing that is unique to this race is their limited "shape change" ability. They can shift their basic shape so that the body, limbs and the like are reconfigured to better approach the work at hand. This ability is controlled by an enzyme that is let out into the bloodstream. The ability to generate more of this enzyme diminishes with age, so old Xienners can't shape change at all. Another feature is the total lack of Psionics. The species can't utilize psionics at all, and trying to mind read them is futile.

Psychology & Philosophy (Mindset)[edit]

The "shape change" would have made them adaptable soldiers, but they are friendly and peaceful. Killing is only permitted in defensive necessity. They are often considered perfect diplomats, and they are sought after for this role in Gurrdon and surrounding areas; they aren't a populous race, which only adds to the demand.
