Starships are designed with the Classic Traveller format, using High Guard Shipyard v1.13 written by Andrea Vallance. |
The White Dragon class Fleet Carrier is a carrier warship.
- It is a military ship and a Fleet Carrier.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
It is a vessel with 6-G and J-2 performance with a streamlined dome hull. She is streamlined for ocean refueling with scoops and refineries, despite being the size of a heavy cruiser.
- It carries heavy armament and a significant defensive suite. She has light armor and a spinal mounted meson gun which is unusual for some carrier classes. Her main offensive punch is from the thirty missile bays.
- It ordinarily carries many subcraft and drones when needed. With 47 sub craft and a 20 ton capacity launch tube the craft can be deployed and recovered rapidly. The strike and attack squadrons rely on the light fighters to escort them to and from their targets.
- It has a 856 sophont crew and 70 marines.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
KWN White Dragon: Rightly dubbed as the "Sky Hammer" by the crew due to the notion that she can have six small squadrons in operation at any given time, the White Dragon is a battleship's worst nightmare. The Karhyri Worlds navy uses this class to provide fighter cover.
