Vilani Cultural Region

This is one of the largest Imperial Cultural Regions, although during the Golden Age it is considered to be mostly a sociological and anthropological designation, rather than having any specific political status.

Originating at the homeworld of Vland, the Vilani are considered extremely influential across thousands of years of history in the zones surrounding the Vland Sector. While the Cultural Region is mostly concentrated in the Domain of Vland and among the worlds of the Vilani Main, its clout has extended into numerous surrounding sectors. The contemporary Vilani Cultural Region is often informally seen as overlapping most of the sectors which comprised the First Imperium (the "Ziru Sirka").
