Ushkhir has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which includes amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
- World Size (S)
Ushkhir is a Meso World between 10,400km and 12,000km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.7G and 0.9G. The horizon will appear about 4.7km away.
- World Atmosphere (A)
Ushkhir has a pressure of 0.10 to 0.42 atmospheres. The very thin pressures require a respirator or Oxygen Mask this atmosphere also contains an unusual taint such as such as disease, a hazardous gas mix, pollutants, or sulfur compounds which requires the use of a Filter Respirator Combination Mask. Some taints may require more protective equipment. TL–5 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
Ushkhir has 35-45% of its surface covered by liquid water. There will be a number of small seas or one larger body of water. Wilderness refueling is possible.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
According to records from the end of the First Imperium, Ushkhir possessed a standard atmosphere, and was colonized by early Solomani settlers. When rediscovered after the Long Night, Ushkhir had fallen victim to some unknown disaster. The initial survey team was shocked to discover the planet's atmosphere had almost completely vanished, severe seismic activity had completely altered the landmasses and caused most of the planetary oceans to seep into fissures deep beneath the surface. The cause of the disaster is still unknown.
The Amec Trade Protectorate carried out a hostile takeover of the corporate government in 862, which has resulted in the planet's current political classification. Today Ushkhir is a major source of heavy metals and has several moderately large underground mining settlements.
