Tureis supports a population of fewer than 10,000 sophonts. Government control of this world is by an external military force. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Bolivar Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Tureis, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight, a member of the Imperial Nobility charged with overseeing the world. This world contains an Imperial Scout Base, capable of handling Scout Service starships and personnel. During the Long Night this world was named Arza.
Astrography and Planetology[edit]
Tureis is a member of the Vilani Run.
Ocean refueling at this world is strictly prohibited. Orbital beacons state this in the strongest terms, and redirect starships to the system's four gas giants.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Tureis is an enormous marine research base run by the IISS, and boasts an extremely wide and varied range of marine flora and fauna. Rumors persist the IISS are preparing to world to become an aquatic zoo, taking in marine lifeforms from all over the sector. The Scout administration has flatly deny the presence of any introduced species on Tureis, although they haven't denied the possibility at a later date.
