Trenchans style="width: 250px; height: 350px; border: solid 1px black; float: right; clear: left" |
Located at the coreward limits of the old Ziru Sirka and now home to the trailing half of the current Yilean state, the Third Empire of Gashikan, Trenchans has seen many wars, migrations, and tragedies in its history.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
The collapse of the Second Empire of Gashikan resulted in its replacement with the Third, the driving force of which originated in Trenchans. As such, the Third Empire is also known as the Trenchans Empire, though the symbolic importance of Gashikan to this highly centralised culture remains strong.
Vargr are found in those regions outside Gashikan space; either the rimward Rar Errall, which has been accepted into the Julian Protectorate (as, ironically, have some former Second Gashikan regions in Mendan), or in independent systems to coreward. The Trae Aggregation is the refuge of the remaining Kokasha Vargr, who fled Lair long ago.

Demographics: 1116[edit]
Significant populations of the following races (sophont species) reside within this area:
- Humaniti (Human Races)
- Non-Human Races
- Bwap: The region was on the outer edge of the First Imperium, not too far from the Empty Quarter where Bwaps originate -- and where Vilani went, Bwaps went. The orderly, structured nature of Yilean society means that local Bwaps generally prospered.
- K'kree: A few trade enclaves, though reaching them requires the K'kree to cross Ktiin'gzat Sector, the Suedzuk playground. This makes K'kree nervous. Nervous K'kree are quick to trample things.
- Terragens (Non-Human Terran Races)
- Vargr (Major Race). The Yileans don't like this, of course. Most are Suedzuk (which even other Vargr often dislike), though the reclusive Kokasha survive here too.
