Native Sophont: Tktk

Most observers consider the natives of Tktk to be a subspecies of Chirper, though the lack of an Ancients site here has made the research community reluctant to confirm this. Tktks have adaptations to the thin tainted atmosphere of their world, possessing larger lungs than other Chirpers, a broader chest cavity, and more extensive blood vessels. They are also more linguistically sophisticated than most Chirpers, and have a robust storytelling culture and mythology.

• The world is shared between human colonists and a native non-human species, also called the Tktk, which resembles Chirpers.
