Historically, Tizon has been one of the most important of the Sword Worlds, and in the past it built an empire big enough to make it a power almost comparable to Gram.

Followers of Beriel Andreesen, a failed claimant to the throne of the Tizon Empire, colonised the world named Beriel in his honour.
