Notes (2016)

On the original hand-drawn Map of Charted Space (included on the MT-CDROM) done by GDW ca 1979/1980, there is a prominent world named "Troy" located in the Beta Quadrant (approximately subsector H) of the sector that would later be named the Trojan Reach. The reference has survived in the sector name, but there is no current world named Troy in the sector.

That early hand-drawn map is the only reference to it I have ever seen. Eyeballing it from the big map, it looks like it is right on the border between subsectors D & H, at about the "middle" of the border along the Spinward-Trailing axis (just inside the Imperial political border).
