Talk:Talos (world)

My description of Talos was inspired by the Ancient Greek myth of Talos -- a giant automaton or robot built of bronze that guarded the island of Crete. It circled the island three times a day throwing rocks at ships that tried to approach. Jason and the Argonauts had a run-in with Talos while on their quest for the Golden Fleece. Talos was eventually killed by exploiting his weak spot -- a single vein that ran from his neck to his ankle and was kept shut by a single nail. Once this was removed, he bled to death.
