During the Sixth Interstellar War Shulgi was captured by the forces of the Terran Confederation in -2321, but the Vilani were ultimately able to retake the system. During the Eighth Interstellar War the Terrans again captured the system in -2255.
Additional Notes[edit]
Shulgi appears on the Imperium game map. Like several Imperial worlds on that map, its name has a Sumerian origin. Shulgi was a Sumerian king in the Third Dynasty of Ur. Notably, the Great Ziggurat of Ur was completed during his reign.
