This pest is especially common on Bwap ships and areas as they like the humidity. The Bwap seem to suffer no ill effects from this creature. Humaniti, on the other hand, find that the lizard emits a low-frequency noise that prevents restful sleep. This is compounded by the fact that this creature emits a sound ten times more powerful while in jump.
Shau Muun (Creature) TAS Advisory[edit]
The Travellers' Aid Society recommends that human sophonts use a pest deterrant or erradicant to prrevent the sleep-depriving effects of the Shau Munn.
Many Bwap merchants sell human passengers on Bwap starships small electronic devices that generate white noise to counteract the sonic properties of the Shau Muun. These devices typically sell for Cr5 or less ad most humans find them an excellent buy.
