History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

The struggle over resources is unending on Saezghen.

  • Armies constantly clash in the subterranean networks or on the barren surface to capture mines, manufacturing centers, and reservoirs. Occasionally, a faction manages to capture all the world, but it inevitably splits into smaller factions to start the cycle over.
  • Before the Thirz Empire, Saezghen's history was bloodier still when its armies fought wars of extermination to control population growth. The world is now trying alternatives under the Empire's guidance. But no one has ruled out a return to the old ways if population growth is not checked. Most of the ground forces of the Thirz Empire originate from Saezghen.

World Starport[edit]

Saezghen has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

World Technology Level[edit]

Saezghen possesses a Technology Level of TL–12 or TL-C in Hexadecimal Notation.

World Government[edit]

Saezghen has a Balkanized Government. There is no central world government. The world has several governments competing for control of the world. These may be allies, cooperating, competitors, or at war with each other.

As a member of the Thirz Empire, this world is represented in the peerage, by a single aristocrat. The world also has a governor that represents the King to its nations.

Population[edit]

40 billion Vargr.
