Rim States

The Rim States were various interstellar polities that independently arose in Solomani Rim Sector during Long Night.

Description (Specifications)

These states created in response to fear of the Reaver menace and the contraction of the Terran Mercantile Community’s area of influence to Sol Subsector.

• Examples of Rim States include the Dingir League, the Easter Concord, the Old Earth Union, the Vegan Polity, the Boötean League, and the Arcturus Federation.

History & Background (Dossier)

Many of the Rim States became economically prosperous and highly populated during Long Night.

• These worlds developed an independent, populist, and anti-aristocratic outlook.
• Most of these Rim States were eventually absorbed into the expanding Third Imperium, with the Old Earth Union being the last to join, in 588.
