The Plexxan are a technologically sophisticated Minor Non-Human Race with a semi-humanoid appearance.

Description (Specifications)

Plexxans are near enough to Human, possessing two legs, two arms, and a head, but have a strange metabolism, and an added awareness sense that allows them to perceive energy fields and auras that Humans can't. Written forms of their languages, e.g. Mariel, use magnetic inks that permit them to "read" from a distance non-visually.

They have a six-sex gender-caste system.

History & Background (Dossier)

Spacefaring, they are active within the Third Imperium.

Emperor Usuti was supposedly ruler of the Imperium between 619 and 620; their name is of Plexxan origin, but historians disagree on whether Usuti was actually some other species, possibly Humaniti with a Plexxan-sounding name; records are unclear and disputed.

This race is primarily located in the following areas:

• Plexxan sophonts are known in the regions between the Empty Quarter Sector, Antares Sector, Core Sector, and Lishun Sector, and are occasionally seen farther away in regions of the Imperial fringe.
