Persephone is a moderate population world, too many sophonts to be an agricultural world but not enough to be an industrial world. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Lunion Subsector of Spinward Marches Sector and in the Domain of Deneb. Persephone, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estates of an Imperial knight and a baronet, and the fiefdoms of a marquis and a viscount. All four are members of the Imperial Nobility charged with overseeing the world. This world has a nearby Imperial Way Station.

Astrography & Planetology

The planet has a standard oxygen-nitrogen atmosphere tainted by airborne micro-organisms and a chilly climate.

The system forms an important and heavily traveled link between Lunion and Glisten subsectors. The Scout way station uses Jayhon, the outer gas giant, as its main fuel source and supplies much of the fuel required for the port as well.
