History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Garr is currently defined by descendents of refugees from a religious schism on Jeremiah, the Jerimiahan Revelationist Congregation. This sect promotes large families, partially explaining Garr's high population.
World Starport[edit]
Garr has a Class D Starport, a poor quality installation which has few of the expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
Government[edit]
As a full member of the Corellan League, it sends two representatives to the League Assembly, which convenes aboard the Capital Orbital habitat, a station in geosynchronous orbit above Corella.
