System Data[edit]
The primary is Mensey, a dim red subdwarf star. It has a luminosity of 0.00103 Sols, a mass of 0.081 Sols, and a diameter of 109,000 km. (I) a trace atmosphere radworld, (II) an exotic atmosphere bigworld, (III) the Ourit Main Belt, designated the mainworld, (IV) a ringed large gas giant, (V-I) a small gas giant, (V-II) a dense icy planetoid belt, and (VI) a ringed small ice giant form the outer system. Many of the worlds retain satellites.
Mainworld Data[edit]
(III) Ourit Main Belt[edit]
(III) the Ourit Main Belt orbits within the outer system and is designated the mainworld. It lies at a mean distance of 0.7 AU from the star and is primarily made up of carbonaceous bodies with diameters of less than 100 km. The inner edge of the belt, with a higher concentration of nickel-iron bodies, is considered to lie at around 0.65 AU from the star and the outer edge of the belt, with a higher concentration of icy bodies, is considered to lie at approximately 0.86 AU. The main body is named Sylvester, with a mean orbital distance of 0.68 AU around Mensey and an orbital period of 1 year 354 days. It is broadly spherical, with a diameter of 640 km, a density of 4.77 g/cm³, and a surface gravity of 0.03 G. It retains no atmosphere and has no hydrographics. Mean surface temperature: -155°C in sunlight, -201°C in shadow.
Native Lifeforms[edit]
No world in the Ourit system is known to have native life.
