The Order of the Imperial Sunburst is an Imperial order of knighthood created in Year 0 which at that time had very few members, all of whom were of very high rank.

It only had a single internal rank, that of Knight/Dame Commander of the Imperial Sunburst (K.C.I.S. / D.C.I.S.).

The order was disbanded and almost the entire membership transferred to the Order of the Starship and Crown by proclamation of Cleon I in 17.
