World Demographics[edit]

Occam has a mixed population of uplifted Dolphins, variant Aquamorph Humans and normal Solomani. There are few underwater habitats but the oceans are known for exotic, large and colorful sea life and it was a major tourist destination prior to the Solomani Rim War. Most of the Humans inhabit mobile floating island-cities buoyed up by gravitics some of which are capable of limited free flight to avoid storms.

World Culture[edit]

Languages[edit]

  • Anglic
  • Delphinic Trinary
    • This language, also known as Delphinese, involves various clicks, rasps, chirps, creaks, hoots and whistles. Due to the spread of Dolphins across Charted Space, it has evolved into a multitude of dialects. It can take a Dolphin some time to learn a new dialect; errors are often seen by both parties as humorous.
    • For communication with humans and other races, most Dolphins speak ordinary, if flowery, Anglic.
  • Vilani (language)
