Starships are designed with the Classic Traveller format, using High Guard Shipyard v1.13 written by Andrea Vallance. |
The Marat class Battleship is a heavy warship.
- It is a military ship and a Battleship.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
This is TL–14 dreadnought that was scheduled for mothballs. They were acquired cheaply and upgraded and refitted with TL–15 equipment. They retain the armor of the former class. The odd sized hull, results in some odd battery configurations. It carries a single squadron of heavy fighters to protect a pair of cutters and support her marines. She has strong shielding with backups. They serve with the 306th Fleet, and are sufficient to keep most of the Vargr fleet assets at bay.
