Khumsada has a short-sleeve breathable atmosphere. The system has a population between 100 million and a billion sophonts. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Arnakhish Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Khumsada, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight and the fiefdoms of a baron and a viscount. All three are members of the Imperial Nobility charged with overseeing the world. During the Long Night this world was named Kaammii.

Khumsada is a member of the Shegimuud Trace.

Khumsada is a pleasant garden world with a temperate climate. Two minor continents straddle the equator and vast chains of islands, most formed by volcanism, trail into the oceans. The starport has been restricted to a class C facility (although it is particular luxurious) and the number of visitors is restricted.

History and background

The world is regarded as one of the premier holiday destinations in the subsector. Some of Khumsada's major selling points are the breathtaking scenery and the incredible diversity of native life. The world has few other usable resources and the local government is keen to preserve its scenery and natural heritage. Khumsada is also known for fine quality vegetables, fruit, and wines.
