Junivaar supports a population of fewer than 10,000 sophonts. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Pact Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Junivaar, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight, a member of the Imperial Nobility charged with overseeing the world. During the Long Night this world was named Gaauup.
Astrography and planetology[edit]
Junivaar is a member of the Dagudashaag Main.
The primary star of this system, RS-453662-G, is a Mira-type long period variable, fluctuating in luminosity between 200 Sol and 20,000 Sol, over a period of about four and a half standard years. At maximum luminosity (Highsummer), Junivaar is a humid, tropical world. At minimum luminosity (Deepwinter) the planet is a frozen waste.

Point of Interest: Local Ecology[edit]
Even the atmosphere freezes onto the surface. Life on Junivaar has adapted itself to the rigors of these strange climatic conditions - the plant life and animal forms secrete insulating carapaces, or burrow deep underground to survive the intense cold. When Highsummer comes, the flora grows rapidly, forming impenetrable forests within a matter of months.
History and background[edit]
LaForge Biotechnology and DeepLevel Harvesting of Medurma (Dagudashaag 2124) have established a joint base on Junivaar to assess the commercial potential of the local lifeforms.
