Ishmurish has the population located in one or more dwarf planets or planetesimals in a co-orbital position, an asteroid belt. The system supports a population of fewer than 10,000 sophonts. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Gadde Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Ishmurish, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight, a member of the Imperial Nobility charged with overseeing the world. This world contains an Imperial Scout Base, capable of handling Scout Service starships and personnel. During the Long Night this world was named Nuuka.

Astrography and planetology

Ishmurish is a member of the Sylean Main.

The Scout base was originally set up to investigate the unusual system formation since, apart from the system's primary and close companion, the only stable orbiting bodies are the asteroid belt and two trapped comets. According to theory, this system should have been home to several planets and gas giants. The research base on the Nuu Prime asteroid is focusing on trying to find the cause of the unusual gravity patterns within the system; there are a number of unique and unpredictable gravity waves and eddy’s in-system that can seriously affect flight patterns.

History and background

The inhabitants of this asteroid belt are all dependents and families of the Scouts stationed here. These families have engaged in a little small time prospecting while waiting for their Scouts to be transferred to other locations.
