The Intr'gtha are a silicone-based species similar is appearance to common insects.
Physiology & Ecology[edit]
The home environment of these insects has silicon in almost every plant structure. Thus, they have a terrible hunger for it as their body requires more of the substance to fulfil its genetic blueprints for its exoskeleton. When the environment runs out of silicon, Intr'gtha turn on each other, and digesting others' enzymes puts the creatures into hibernation.
Life Cycle & Reproduction[edit]
Compounding eradication efforts, this species' eggs can lay dormant for years.
Diet & Trophics[edit]
Intr'gtha are species of insect-like creature known for its appetite for semiconductors.
This small size and the strength of their jaws means that they can consume the tracts off microchips in short order. Coming from a silicon-rich environment, they have a craving for the element. They can also consume copious amounts of dangerous compounds such as arsenic without a problem.
