The Imperial Empty Quarter Main is a large main that features quite a bit of traffic, some of which originates in the Third Imperium although most of it comes from the Vargr Extents.

The Imperial Empty Quarter Main passes through parts of the Six Subsectors and encompasses 45 systems.

Most historians believe that the Imperial Empty Quarter Main was originally established during the time of the Ziru Sirka although research shows that Vargr trade routes previously existed before the Vilani came. [1]
