Ar'Chrinhdah is an agricultural world.

This is a traditionally non-aligned world in the Ekteiu Subsector of Touchstone Sector.

The common Aslan name for this world is Ilryoa; the name Ar'Chrinhdah is the closest Humans can get to the sound made by the world's Ascondi inhabitants.

History and Background[edit]

In 1105, Ar'Chrinhdah was populated by several million Ascondi, who had a mature TL-6 society. A few Aslan and Humans also dwelt in remote areas of the world; the Aslan were mostly small bands of ihatei, rather optimistically claiming that they owned the planet, whilst the Humans were a collection of prospectors and explorers.

New Era[edit]

Ilryoa was interdicted after a major industrial accident in 1155. The then-controlling Tlawstea clan was apparently using a small station established here in the manufacturing of a variety of contraband materials. An accident created a chemical leak that killed most of the station's population. A Tlaukhu military ship responded to the station's distress signal, and the clan's illegal activities became public knowledge. The entire clan was either executed or banished, an unusually severe punishment. It is worth noting that the clans most zealous in prosecuting Tlawstea were themselves allegedly involved in many of its illegal activities, though few in the sector seemed to see anything amiss with that. At any rate, the world was forbidden to other settlement, tainted by Tlawstea's perfidy.
