Ijufa is an icy, low-population vacuum world, with a population less than 10,000 sophonts in population size, warranting hazardous environment precautions.
- Its surface is ice-capped with little or no atmosphere and nearly all of its water frozen.
- It is a Non-Aligned world dominated by human sophonts located in the Loran Subsector of Halcyon Sector.

System Data[edit]
Dindas-Ijufa System[edit]
The primary Dindas, a red subdwarf star. It has a luminosity of 0.0038 Sols, a mass of 0.114 Sols, and a diameter of 167,000 km. It has an almost idential companion, Sully, a red subdwarf star with a luminosity of 0.0038 Sols, a mass of 0.113 Sols, and a diameter of 166,000 km. The two lie approximately 200,000 km apart and orbit their barycenter once every 3.5 minutes. (I) a vacuum worldlet, (II) Ijufa, designated the mainworld, (III) an exotic atmosphere stormworld, (IV) an exotic atmosphere bigworld, (V) a large gas giant, (VI) a sparse icy planetoid belt, (VII) a ringed large gas giant, (VIII) a small gas giant, (IX) a trace atmosphere iceworld, and (X) a very thin atmosphere radworld form the outer system. Many of the worlds retain satellites.
Mainworld Data[edit]
(II) Ijufa[edit]
(II) Ijufa is designated the mainworld. It orbits Dindas at a mean distance of 0.32 AU (47.9 million km), within the outer system. It has an orbital period of 195 days 20 hours and a rotation period of 16.5 hours. The axial tilt is 22 degrees. Ijufa has a diameter of 5,392 km, a density of 5.18 g/cm³, and a surface gravity of 0.40 G. The world is geologically inert. Its atmosphere is rated as Vacuum. Approximately 8% of the surface is covered in sheets of water-ice. Mean surface temperature: -86°C.
Mainworld geography and topography[edit]
Total surface area: 91 million km², Land surface area: 84 million km², Ice surface area: 7 million km².
Native lifeforms[edit]
No world in the Ijufa system is known to have native life.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
No information yet available.
World starport[edit]
Ijufa has a Class E Starport, a frontier quality installation with few expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of a downport.
World technology level[edit]
Ijufa possesses a Technology Level of TL–9.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Fiber optics and satellite communication and data networks.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Early fusion power.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land: Ultra high-speed trains and early grav vehicles.
- Water: High efficiency sailcraft, multihulled seacraft, improved artificial gills.
- Air: Tiltrotorcraft, exotic VTOL's, PARWIG, and rocket-assisted suborbitals.
- Space: SSTO spacecraft, early military spacecraft (System Craft), and interstellar STL starships
- FTL: Prototype Jump Drive-1.
World government[edit]
Ijufa is governed by a Representative Democracy where government leadership is representatives elected by eligible voters. What determines an eligible voter varies. The representatives determine policy, including selecting members of the bureaucracy. There can be referendum, votes by eligible voters on specific subjects.
