Description[edit]

Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]

A large, wet world with a dense atmosphere, Hkoihaw AKA Aosola Fringe has little land above sea level that isn't jagged mountainside or dense rain forest.

History and Background[edit]

Hkoihaw, previously known as Aosola Fringe, is the Hkoihawuil capital. The namesake clan is a longtime resident of the sector, having settled in Touchstone to get away from the Hierate's cutthroat politics in the 880s. When Aokhalte pushed them from their homes in Ekteiu Subsector, they settled here on Aosola Fringe, and attracted a number of other clans disillusioned or fearful of predation by other major clans. Their enmity with Hlyueawi goes back centuries, though a truce existed between them before the Collapse. The clan has very high standards of honor that it applies to all of its vassals; no overt piracy or dishonorable acts will be found here. The clan's hatred of Hlyueawi has been intensified by the latter's resurgence through questionable alliances with the sector's trash.
