• The world's agricultural industry is growing and some economists forecast an explosion in this world's agribusiness in the near future as new agro-technology and a more capable labor force are imported.
• This is a rich world with a prosperous and thriving world economy.
• This world has high-grade living conditions with a good climate and a non-harmful environment. As such, this world is much sought after with large queues for immigration here.
• It is a member of the Third Imperium in the Lagan Subsector of Gushemege Sector in the Domain of Vland.
• This world is a "Twilight Zone World", a planet that is tidally-locked to its star. It has a hot side that permanently faces the star, a cold side that permanently faces away, and a narrow twilight zone in-between.
• It is a balmy tropical world, with a climate of high temperatures.
• This world contains an Imperial Scout Base, capable of handling IISS starships and personnel.
• Around 5% of the population are Suerrat.
• It is a member of the Gushemege Main.

Hate is a Big World between 13,600km and 15,200km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 1G and 1.3G. The horizon will appear about 5.4km away. Vessels with only 1G of thrust should avoid landing on this world.

Mainworld Atmosphere (A)

Hate has a pressure of 1.50 to 2.49 atmospheres. A Dense Atmosphere requires no survival gear although it may be hard on sophonts not accustomed to it.

• Temperatures within the narrow twilight zone are elevated.

Hate has 75-85% of its surface covered by liquid water with a few large continents and extensive islands. Wilderness refueling is possible.

Hate is a Puzzle World and is designated as an Amber Zone. It presents particular risks and dangers due to the environment or native life forms, laws or customs, or other conditions that are not well understood.

• Visitors are advised to act with caution.

World Starport (St)

Hate has a Class D Starport, a poor quality installation which has few of the expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.

• The world is host to a Scout Base.

World Population (P)

Hate has a population of 700,000,000 sophonts (hundreds of millions).

• Around 30 million Suerrat (making up less than 5% of the population) reside on the world.

• Na'ans: the most widely spoken Suerrat language.
• Vilani: one of the two official languages of the Imperium.

Suerrat cities are very crowded. Suerrat populations are at a density where other species find the mental health of the inhabitants deteriorates; by contrast, Suerrat thrive in these conditions.

Hate has an extreme law level which covers every area of interaction. Laws are complex, detailed, and difficult to understand. Every interaction with the government requires an Advocate. Law enforcement is omnipresent and strict. Legal proceeding can take months to years to resolve and may involve dozens of people. A few worlds with this law level may be a Red Zone and others will be an Amber Zone. All objects specifically manufactured as weapons are typically regulated or prohibited (with no exception for private residences; visiting starships are only protected so long as they stay within designated starports and approach corridors). Civilian movement is rigidly controlled. Travel documents are frequently checked, and destinations must often be declared when traveling substantial distances across the world.

• circa -8100: The Vilani make contact with the Suerrat and sell them jump technology.
• prior to -5400: the Suerrat have established a multi-world polity using jump drives. It would become one of the first targets of the Vilani Consolidation Wars.
• -4045 to -2204: the Ziru Sirka controls the world.
• -2404 to -2215: the Interstellar Wars.
