History & Background

Gateway was originally an asteroid colony constructed by Galastrian Metals for processing and shipment of raw materials from particularly rich asteroid belts circling the star Thegisthil.

This is the construction site for the Gateway Class Heavy Cruisers.

• 612: Galian Trade League and Hochiken Republic fight the 'Heptad War' over the Heptad Worlds of Windfleet
• 758: First Galian-Viyard war ends with the Treaty of Umbrin. Viyard Concourse established.
• 911-918: Galian Civil War. Plavian League, Trindel Confederacy, and Galian Federation emerge from collapse of Galian Trade League.
