Fitl class Strike Cruiser |
The Fitl class Strike Cruiser is a light warship.
- It is a military ship and a Strike Cruiser.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
It is a vessel with 2-G and J-5 performance with a streamlined wedge hull. The jump 5 capacity is essential in its role as a light strike cruiser, however, it lumbers without agility and has only 2G's acceleration. The Model/8 fib ship computer features an organic fiber optic back up (see Shard Gargoyle).
- It carries significant armament and a powerful defensive suite. There are two particle beam cannon bays in the nose, a light meson gun spinally mounted, eight triple turrets for anti-shipping missiles, eight dual fusion gun turrets, and four dual beam laser turrets. The screens are strong, and there are 150 triple sand caster turrets in fifteen batteries to compensate for the thin armor (carbon nanotube mesh over forged aluminum and titanium platelets) on the hull.
- It ordinarily carries a number of subcraft, ship's vehicles, and drones when needed. It is equipped with thirty special naval landing force infantry with drop capsules, who are typically equipped with six Warbots. Ship's vehicles include: two 60 ton shuttles, four Kitl class Heavy Fighters and six Baql class Light Fighters in a composite fighter squadron.
- It has a 220 sophont crew and 30 marines.
