Erenim is a rich, agricultural garden world with a near-ideal, utopian environment conducive to most sophonts.
- As an agricultural world, this world is a near-ideal environment for producing quality foodstuffs of plant, animal, and other forms. Quality foodstuffs are a major export commodity for this world.
- This is a rich world with a prosperous and thriving world economy.
- Its economy and population are rapidly growing and living conditions are expected to quickly rise barring outside forces.
- This is a temperate world, with a climate of pleasant, average temperatures, considered to be an ideal or near-ideal environment by many different sophont species.
- It is a Non-Aligned world dominated by human sophonts located in the Natar Subsector of Far Home Sector.
- This world-system hosts a Military Base, usually associated with military ground forces, which may be located on or off-world.
Description / Astrography & Planetology[edit]
Erenim lies on the Scybrian Run Star Lane.

System Data[edit]
Salan-Erenim System[edit]
The primary is Salan, an ordinary yellow sequence star. It has a luminosity of 1.102 Sols, a mass of 1.02 Sols and a diameter of 1.4 million km. The inner system consists of (I) a vacuum inner world, (II) a vacuum worldlet, and (III) a thin atmosphere hospitable world. (IV) Erenim orbits within the habitable zone and is designated the mainworld. (V) a vacuum worldlet, (VI) a small gas giant, (VII) a large ringed gas giant, (VIII) an exotic atmosphere bigworld, and (IX) an exotic atmosphere radworld form the outer system. Many of the worlds retain satellites.
Mainworld Data[edit]
(IV) Erenim[edit]
(IV) Erenim is designated the mainworld. It orbits Salan at a mean distance of 1.06 AU (158.6 million km), within the habitable zone. It has an orbital period of 394 days 16 hours and a rotation period of 18.5 hours. The axial tilt is 15 degrees. Erenim has a diameter of 10,903 km, a density of 5.72 g/cm³, and a surface gravity of 0.89 G. The world is geologically active. Its atmosphere is rated as Dense, with a mean surface pressure of 1.73 bar and a composition of 81% nitrogen, 18% oxygen, and 1% argon, water vapour, carbon dioxide, neon and other trace gases. Approximately 59% of the surface is covered in oceans of liquid water: average tidal ranges exceed 0.3m. Mean surface temperature: 26°C. The atmosphere is dynamic and strong weather systems driven by the star and the oceans scour the surface. The climate is seasonal.
Satellites[edit]
Erenim retains two natural satellites, a pair of cratered vacuum worldlets named Carsen and Dolmen:
- (IVa) Carsen (UWP H300000-0, orbiting at 11 Diameters/284,000 km)
- (IVb) Dolman (UWP H200000-0, orbiting at 35 Diameters/284,000 km).
Mainworld geography and topography[edit]
Total surface area: 373 million km², Water surface area: 220 million km², Land surface area: 153 million km². Four rugged, mountainous continents, the largest covering much of the southern hemisphere and extending to the southern polar regions. Many large islands and archipelagos. Deep oceans.
Native Lifeforms[edit]
Extensive native life.
History & Background / Dossier[edit]
Erenim is a pleasant agricultural world and one of the original Seven Colonies.
World Starport[edit]
Erenim has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
World Technology Level[edit]
Erenim possesses a Technology Level of TL–6.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Telephone, radio, and television.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Early fission power generation, advanced water and wind generation of electricity.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land: Improved automobiles, early ATV's, and dedicated AFV's.
- Water: Amphibious vehicles, improved submersibles, and early SCUBA gear.
- Air: Early jet aircraft and rotorcraft VTOL's.
- Space: Early unmanned rocket delivery systems and early manned orbital rockets.
World Government[edit]
Erenim has a Balkanized Government. There is no central world government. The world has several governments competing for control of the world. These may be allies, cooperating, competitors, or at war with each other.

World Economy[edit]
Erenim's main export is Senn Powder, an expensive spice that induces a mild sense of euphoria. Senn Powder is derived from the stamen of tiny sharp-leafed Razor Orchids: hundreds of flowers will only produce a few grams of stamen. Vast, heavily guarded orchid farms dominate inhabited areas.
