Epfintsez is a poor, non-agricultural desert world with no free-standing water.

• It is unable to produce quality foodstuffs and must import them.
• The population of this world is restless, massive in numbers, struggling in a tough, desert environment, and full of dissent. This world is ripe for revolution.
• Some hope to establish an industrial business sector here in the near future to increase prosperity. Others are looking into innovative food production means such as hydro- and aero-ponics in hope of making this world food-sufficient.
• It is a member of the Zhodani Consulate in the Anshniepr Lenzh Subsector of Ziafrplians Sector and in the Province of Iadr Nsobl.

Epfintsez is a sad reminder that the Zhodani way does not appeal to everyone. The modern population is of Imperial descent, not Zhodani, and has resisted absorption into the Consulate since its arrival in the 400s (Imperial). This is particularly insulting to the Zhodani, as the settlers are using technology left behind from a prior Zhodani occupation of the world in order to survive on the world's meager natural resources.
