The Diablo's Passage is an astrographic feature located in the Reaver's Deep Sector.

Description (Specifications)

The Diablo's Passage is an arm of the Khakhan Track consisting of six systems. The arm itself separates from the Khakhan Track at the Merisun system (Nightrim Subsector, 2720).

• One system is located in the Drexilthar Subsector.
• The remaining five systems are located in the Urlaqqash Subsector.
  • All six systems are members of the Third Imperium.

History & Background (Dossier)

The highest population world on the arm, with approximately fifty million inhabitants, is Marianne (Urlaqqash Subsector, 2821). The lowest population world on the arm is Hela (Urlaqqash Subsector, 2721) with approximately four thousand inhabitants.

The arm is named for the mainworld Diablo (Drexilthar Subsector, 2423). This planet lies at the Rimward/Spinward end of the arm and indeed is as unpleasant as its name might suggest. One suspects the planet's name proved too much of a temptation for some long forgotten Astrographer when the arm was initially charted.
