• It requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. Having to import most manufactured and high tech goods drives the price up for these items at this world.
• Its economy and population are rapidly growing and living conditions are expected to quickly rise barring outside forces.
• This is a "low technology" world with technology competencies well below technology standards for Charted Space.
• It is a Non-Aligned world dominated by human sophonts located in the Esser Subsector of Divide Sector.

Angala-Deevan System

The primary is Angala, an ordinary yellow main sequence star. It has a luminosity of 0.52 Sols, a mass of 0.871 Sols, and a diameter of 1.264 million km. The inner system consists of (I) a corrosive atmosphere inferno world, (II) a very thin atmosphere hospitable world, (III) Deevan orbits within the habitable zone and is designated the mainworld. (IV) a very thin atmosphere hospitable world, (V) a large gas giant, (VI-I) a ringed large gas giant, and (VI-II) form the outer system. Many of the worlds retain satellites.

Bardo Subsystem

The companion is Bardo, a dim red main sequence star that lies at a mean distance of 589 AU (orbital position (XIV), 88.1 billion km) from Angala. It has a luminosity of 0.0055 Sols, a mass of 0.302 Sols, and a diameter of 444,000 km. (I) a trace atmosphere worldlet, (II) a vacuum iceworld, (III) a large gas giant, (IV) a small gas giant, and (V) a vacuum iceworld form the outer system. Many of the worlds retain satellites.

Ginty Subsystem

The far companion is Ginty, a dim red subdwarf star that orbits Bardo at a mean distance of 20.2 AU (orbital position (IX), 3.02 billion km) and has an orbital period of 165 years. It has a luminosity of 0.00152 Sols, a mass of 0.093 Sols, and a diameter of 127,000 km. (I) a sparse stony planetoid belt, (II) an exotic atmosphere bigworld, and (III) a trace atmosphere iceworld form the outer system. Many of the worlds retain satellites.

(III) Deevan

(III) Deevan is designated the mainworld. It orbits Angala at a mean distance of 0.65 AU (97.2 million km), within the habitable zone. It has an orbital period of 205 days 2 hours and a rotation period of 33 hours. The axial tilt is 25 degrees. Deevan has a diameter of 11,552 km, a density of 4.83 g/cm³, and a surface gravity of 0.79 G. The world is geologically active. Its atmosphere is rated as Dense, with a mean surface pressure of 1.73 bar and a composition of 77% nitrogen (N₂), 21% oxygen (O₂), 1% argon (Ar), and 1% water vapor (H₂O), carbon dioxide (CO₂), ozone (O₃), neon (Ne) and other trace gases. Approximately 61% of the surface is covered in oceans of liquid water: average tidal ranges exceed 0.35m. Mean surface temperature: 19°C. The climate is rated as Temperate-Prime and experiences moderate seasonal changes during the local year. The atmosphere is active and strong weather systems driven by the star and the oceans sweep across the globe.

Satellites

Deevan retains two natural satellites, a vacuum worldlet named Pestens and a trace atmosphere worldlet named Kuris:

The hot marginally hospitable world lying in orbital position (II) (within the H– region of the inner system) has primitive native life, consisting entirely of microscopic cyanobacteria-parallels that exist in any location where they can find even a minimal trace of shelter and moisture. Their metabolic functions maintain the process of atmospheric renewal.

Deevan, the mainworld, has extensive native life, consisting of microscopic organisms, stromatolite-parallels and primitive flora that can be found in almost every ecological niche. Their metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal.

The cold marginally hospitable world lying in orbital position (IV) (within the H+ region of the outer system) has primitive cryophile native life, consisting entirely of microscopic cyanobacteria-parallels that thrive in the harsh conditions. Their metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal.

No other world in the system is known to have native life.

Bardo Subsystem

The small gas giant lying in orbital position (IV) (within the outer system) has jovionoid lifeforms within its atmosphere.
