Crout, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight and the fiefdom of a count. Both are members of the Imperial Nobility charged with overseeing the world.

Offworld contact is not restricted, and a great deal of trade comes through the world’s port. Crout is known as one of the safest and most friendly ports a trader can visit. [2]
